Why this exists
I built Marked because of a question I couldn't answer.
After my own father passed, I realized how much I didn't know — who he was before he became "Dad," what he was proud of, what he'd wanted to say but never quite found the moment for. Those answers were gone the day he was.
I don't want my own kids to have that same gap. So I built the app I wished existed: somewhere a dad can capture the moments and stories that made him, in his own words, on his own time — and know they'll actually reach the people who matter, when it matters.
Marked isn't a diary app. It's not a productivity tool. It's a way to make sure your story doesn't disappear with you.
